How to Use the Application as a Supplier

Purpose of the Application

The application is designed to streamline and automate the process of managing pricing requests between the organization and its suppliers.

As a supplier, you will receive notifications about pricing requests, updates on existing requests, and any other relevant information.

What Will a Supplier Receive?

As a supplier, you will receive email notifications from the application. These notifications may include:

• Pricing Request Notifications: When Magna places a new pricing request, you will receive a notification with the details of the request. The details include the part, description, and other relevant information.
• Request Update Notifications: If there are any changes to an existing request, such as changes in quantity or delivery date, you will be notified.
• General Notifications: Any other relevant information or updates from Magna will be sent to you via email notifications.

What Does a Supplier Need to Do?

Upon receiving a notification, you will need to:

1. Log in to the Portal: Use the "Login" option on the navbar to log in to the Magna Pricing Portal. If you did not receive an email please contact Magna.
2. View all Requests: Navigate to the "Active Pricing Requests" page. Here, you will see a list of all the requests that need your attention.
3. Review Request Details: Click "Edit" on a request to view the details. You will see the part number, description, and other relevant information.
4. Submit Pricing: Fill in the necessary information for each request, such as the new price, minimum order, quantity, and whether the part is subject to plastic tax. This record will turn green indicating it is complete but pending submission.
5. Complete Pricing: Ensure all demand is covered by a pricing period. The screen will prompt you for more lines if anything is outstanding.
6. Submit All Completed Requests: Once you have filled in the necessary information for all requests, click on the "Submit ALL Completed Requests" button. Please note that all requests will be sent to Magna and cannot be changed after submission.
7. Unable to Submit: If for some reason you are unable to submit a request, you can mark it as "unable to submit" and provide a reason. This record will then turn red and be sent to Magna for review.
8. Review Submitted Requests: You can review the details of the submitted requests by navigating to "Archived Requests".
